After I login in, the game tries to load the resource pack and it freezes and times out every time. I lowered all my visual settings to the lowest and took off my texture pack and it still doesn't work. I did everything in the resource guide too, so please don't post that as a fix.
    Tried 1.10.2-OptiFine_HD_U_C2 and 1.11.2-OptiFine_HD_U_B6

Try without the Optifine and use the normal edition of Minecraft

I also had a problem where my minecraft freeze when I join any server and I am still looking into to it to see what the cause of the problem.

How do I check that? Cause I'm having the same issue on other servers that require a resource pack...

Go to any minecraft world and press F3. It will show ram in the top right corner. :D

    Java: 1.8.0_25 64 bit
    Mem: 13% 132/1011MB
    Allocated: 28% 283MB

I moved it up to 3GB and 5GB and it still freezes.

Hm... I'm out of ideas. You should contact an admin like Aaron. This could be a bug.

Did you read my first post? "I did everything in the resource guide too, so please don't post that as a fix."

Still found no solution with this issue... any suggestions that haven't been said is helpful.
