I just purified my shadow omastar thinking it would make it lose reverse mode, which apparently turns it into the normal form of whatever pokemon it is, my question is is there a way to turn him back into a shadow or did I screw up? and if there is no way, I'd like to suggest they edit the whole purification thing to make it more obvious of what it actually does, because I doubt I'm the only idiot who's done this
Hello Maxie Normal purification indeed turns your shadow pokemon into a normal pokemon. If you only want to lose the ability reverse mode, you have to synergy purify a pokemon, which will keep the shadow skin and typing. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reverse the process of (synergy) purification.
