15 Things we need before Kanto

    Fishing Mechanic:

    Let’s start with fishing to hook you in. It’s the thing that makes hunting shiny Magikarps possible. Old Rod, Good Rod and, Super Rod will allow us to keep the rarity of Pokemon in Kanto true. Hopefully we will see a feature like this included but we run into a question here. Could I just swim in the ocean and find a water Pokemon, like in Pokeworld? [​IMG]

    Grass Patch Spawning:

    This mechanic is to limit the area of spawning Pokemon to a rectangular patch of grass. Pokeworld has a different Pokemon spawning system than original games. We know that Minecraft has grass patches that closely resemble Kanto Regions grass. Enabling a player to engage in Wild Pokemon battles in contained areas like caves, the ocean, as well as the Pokemon mansion. That means Pokemon won’t spawn in towns like we are used to in Pokeworld.     Automatic Battling (Trainer/Wild):

    For the grass patch Pokemon spawning to work, we need a system that insights a Pokemon battle if the player steps in front or near their area of attention. This would have to work for both Wild Pokemon and NPC trainers as well. Nugget Bridge uses this mechanic most recognizably. If we keep the Pokemon spawning system we have now, we can go through a the Kanto region without battling a single wild Pokemon. Luckily, our favorite server has dropped a hint that they have also thought about this. [​IMG]

    Kanto Map - Routes and Towns:

    To recreate the Kanto region, the towns and routes can be directly connected to each other like you would see by connecting blocks together. Pokefind builders have the project of connecting the once unattached panels, to one Kanto region. I'm looking forward to seeing it all popped out. [​IMG]

    Terrain Mechanics:

    This includes it all from one-sided hop ledges to Gym terrain. Remember the heal pad in the Pokemon tower with ghost Pokemon? There was a NPC nurse there telling you we could heal our Pokemon. Lt. Surge’s Trash bin obstacle was one of the most memorable and could be replicated with red-stone and buttons. We also need the teleportation pads used in Sabrina’s gym and the move panels used in the Rainbow Rocket Badge gym. I personally would like to see those panels persist but as a scripted or pre-aligned TNT jump. This would be a fun feature to look over the mazes from a certain elevation for only a short time every instance. [​IMG]

    T M’s & H M’s:

    Flash/Cut/Surf/Strength/Fly/Dig/Teleport We need them all to work. I am speculating the move cut works just like rock smash in Pokeworld,except this time with a tree instead of a wall. Surf can only be used later in the walk-through of the original games. This could work in Pokeworld by placing an invisible wall barrier around water until you talk to the NPC in safari zone to disable the wall. Strength has some questions floating around like will it just be another Pokeworld rock smash/cut mechanic. If i remember correctly, strength was a key obstacle in victory road cave. Together with automatic wild Pokemon battling, it was definitely a task fit for the challengers of the elite four. I hope Pokefind will deliver with this HM because, it is one of the hardest to use. Will we actually see the Legend rank fly mechanic be available for everyone when the time comes? Dig and Teleport have secondary, out-of-combat, effects that sends the player back to the last visited Pokecenter. The cave between Petra and Amber is dark enough to resemble the Dark Cave and the lighting inside will cause us to use the move Flash. Could Pokefind light up a cave for one player at a time? [​IMG]

    NPC Pokemon Trades:

    In total, there are… well a lot of In-game trades. It would be nice to see the Mystery man trading system transferred over to Kanto except with Pokemon instead of stones this time around. I would also love to see the Japanese exclusive in-game trades arrive as well. This has yet to be seen in Pokefind and we need it! [​IMG]

    NPC Interaction:

    These are the extra pedestrians walking around in towns. They are mainly there to give Tips, Side story info, or even a Pokemon on occasion. They are less important the some of the other things on this list but still play an important role in the game. Do they keep the same dialogue and position in the original games? I’m not so sure.     Pick - Up Items (Hidden):

    All the pickup items from Potions to the Masterball to even the Hidden invisible items on the ground or in trash bins. This has been asked for several months now and is a challenge on its own to put into Minecrafts Pokefind. They should be present when the first players explore the new map. [​IMG]

    Safari Zone:

    Non-operational, we have two of our own in Pokeworld. Are there different ways a Safari zone can function besides giving a player 500 steps 30 safari balls and tell them to find the cheese? I’ll say this, when I'm in the safari zone i want to be able to fish for a Dratini, find a Chansey, throw bait and find the end. Maybe Time can be substituted in for Steps. Yet still, after out time is up or the steps are used in the safari, how will we return back at the entrance? [​IMG]

    Pokemon Tower Ghost:

    Remember that ghost around the Pokeflute and Gary? If the story line stays the same in Pokefind, We will need a Pokemon tower ghost to battle. This ghost can be another model and will need to morph into actual Pokemon. At this point, we can start to ask if some features will be left out of Pokefind's new Kanto Region. [​IMG]

    Snorlax Interaction:

    Just when we start to think it won’t happen, we get hope with Snorlax as he sleeps on his side, blocking our view. The Snorlax we know in Pokefind is standing up, block form. Thanksgiving Snorlax is sitting down. Kanto Snorlax will be laying down on its back. Call it an Easter egg or call it a coincidence but if Pokefind modelers can take regular Victreebell(upright) and turn it into Thanksgiving Victreebell(on its side) then we can predict they can have Snorlax do the same.     Game Corner:

    We could use this feature for down time fun, I'm not really sure how it would work in Pokefind terms but i think it’s the only way to get Porygon. [​IMG]

    PKMN Dollars:

    Different than coins in Pokeworld, this currency are in predetermined amounts gained from trainer battles and selling items. The value of PKMN Dollars are higher than Coins and should be added separately as two different currencies. [​IMG]

    PKMN Moves:

    We have played through Pokeworld with a lot of broken moves. I would like all moves or at least more of them functional when i play through Kanto Region. [​IMG]

    Vending Machines: extra

    There is a quest in the story line of generation 1 that requires a bottled water to be delivered after obtaining it from a vending machine. Seeing as we already have out of order machines around Haikou, i would like to see them work in Kanto. [​IMG]

    I agree with your points, but the majority of them I can see as aspects of the MMO itself. I don't think they would be beneficial to the pokeworld game play. They are ideas that are more related and needed for the MMO.
