I know berries increase a certain amount of happiness on pokemon, but are there any factors affecting how the happiness is changed. For an example in the pokemon games catching a pokemon in a friend ball or a luxury ball lowers the effort to reach 220 happiness. What I really want to know is the exact amount of berries I need to raise my pokemon happiness to 220 from its base happiness.

https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Friendship - I'm not sure what Generation the server runs off, but this link lists the amount of friendship gained in each one. Usually, the berries raise happiness by 10 between 0-99 happiness, then 5 between 100-199 happiness, and 2 between 200-255 happiness. THis means of any given berry, from 0 happiness, you need 40 berries, but usually not as many are needed due to a level of friendship already existing. For example, egg Pokemon have a starting happiness of 120, whereas wild Pokemon's friendliness varies (list of base friendships can be found here https:confused:/bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_Pokémon_by_base_friendship), and also happiness is reset to the base level upon a trade. Using this list and a calculator, you can work out the berries needed. As far as I know, the amount of friendship gained from berries is only altered by the level of existing friendship, and Pokeballs found on the server do not affect hapiness. Hope this helps!
