Charmander Disappeared. Glitch?

    I was battling the gym at Smog Town when i decided to change the order of my pokemon and when i moved Charmander it disappeared. i thought i dropped it but then tried dropping other but they would reappear in my inventory. I would like to know what happened to my Charmander and if I could get it back if it got glitch or something. -Thank You

    Could you please provide proof that the pokemon have indeed disappeared along with a pokedex screenshot?
