Gen 2 starters

I think it would be cool seeing the starters change at gen 2. Anyone agree with me or am I the only one.. idk

Why not just make the range wider and allow players to choose from all 6 when gen 2 arrives? That would make far more sense. Or if you did discontinue the gen 1 starters, you would have to make them available in the wild (This would likely be at a low encounter rate).

 

That's not what original pokemon does.

 

They can't take the approach of 'lets make older players feel special' by totally removing the starters. That would make no sense whatsoever.

Is gen 2 going to get added to the same server or different server? I would really hope its the same server and maybe when gen 2 comes out you can go to prof. (something) whenever to choose a starter.

In pokemon heartgold/solesilver you get to choose starter for gen 1 and 2 so...
