I agree, it would also be cool if each player when at a certain level can find a small hole in any desert biome that would only appear to them. And fossil pokemon would spawn in these holes. But after a day it would disappear

 

Remember pokemon are retextured pick axes and the server game mode is in adventure. So this is probably not likely to happen

 

That's why I said for the hole to already be there so that the maps wouldn't be deconstructed since people would be looking for their own hole

 

It would be most likely in the future that fossils would be purchasable in-game or in the store.

I like the idea about a hidden cave where a fossil Pokémon will spawn, but I think that you need to be a high level for one to spawn, such as lvl 30 when in gen 1.
