Pokéfind Mini-Game idea #3: Pokéathlon
Pokéalthon would be your quick, small mini-game-rush game. There would need to be 4-12 players to begin a game. You would go through a series of Pokémon-based challenges, with about 10 random challenges from a select 30+ possible games. To win, you need to be the most amount of points possible by the end of the challenges. 1st place wins 3 points, 2nd = 2 points, 3rd and lower = 1 point. I have a list of 10 example Pokémon mini-game ideas, with a small(ish) description of each game. (I’ll post more n the future).
Apricorn Catch - Catch falling apricorns in your basket and return to your color-coded storage area to save them. Whoever has the most wins. You can punch competitors to drop their apricorns that they’re currently holding, which you can collect for yourself. Small power-ups such as speed up, double jump, and resistance will randomly spawn. You have 1 minute. (Medium)
Chingling Chime - Wearing a model of a colored Chingling, you will play a game of musical chairs mixed in with some easy parkour. (Easy)
Machoke Masher - Wearing a colored Machoke skin, you will be placed in front of a giant chunk of either stone, wool, magma blocks, or wet sponge. You have the moves karate chop, fire punch, ice punch, and thunder punch. Karate chop will immediately break stone or stone like material, but material such as wool, magma block, or wet sponge will take 5 chops to break, each chop taking a 3 second cooldown. With fire punch, wool will be weakened enough for a karate chop to break it instantly. Thunder punch shocks all the water out of wet sponge blocks, and ice punch cooling down magma blocks. The material then turns to stone, whether if it makes sense or not, and you can karate chop it instantly. Break as many blocks as possible to win under a 1 minute timer. (Medium-Hard)
Surfs Up - With a model of a colored Pikachu, you will be placed on a surf board on an open ocean with others beside you. To score points you have to press the space bar when the timer, starting at 7 seconds, stops. You either nail it or fail it, each wave scoring one point, sometimes with random big waves that give three points. as the round continues, the timer decreases. Who ever has the most points wins. (Medium-Hard)
Tauros Rodeo - You and others will be placed in a rodeo ring with 3 hearts of HP, where you’ll dodge charging Tauros charging in random directions. If you get hit, you lose a heart As the round progresses, more and more Tauros will spawn. Some Tauros may have a red coloring during one of their charges, which instantly knocks you out. Who is the last standing wins. (Medium-Hard)
Shadow Guessing - You and others will be teleported to a screen (at night) where a shadow of a Pokémon begins to show as a sprite, the sprite is black, and will slowly begin to show color. You must type in the name of the Pokémon to get it right. First to five points wins. (Easy-Medium)
Zubat Cave - You will be placed in a mine art that slowly starts to speed up along the tracks, with Zubat swing downwards at you, as well as Golbat. Your XP bar with be your “Repel Bar” that quickly decreases. Given a bow, you can shoot repel items hidden around the decorated cave that will fill up your bar. If your bar runs out zubat and golbat will immediately swarm you, and you lose. Any zubat or golbat that you swing down at you can also be shot down with your bow. As the game progresses, repels will start to get more rare, and more zubat and golbat will swing down at you. Zubat take one arrow, Golbat take two, and the rare Crobat takes three. Who ever is the last one standing wins. (Easy-Hard)
Magikarp Leap - As a colored Magikarp, you will have to cross 15 mountains in 1.5 minutes, pressing and holding the space bar and jumping at the right moment, similar to how you do that when riding a horse. Going to low, you hit the cliff and fall ack to the ground waiting 3-5 seconds before jumping again. Jumping to high, you’ll waste precious time. (Easy-Medium)
Smeargle’s Paint Off! - You have 2 minutes to build a randomly selected Pokémon. The Pokémon will have a simple design, such as Oddish or Wurmple. You must then vote on the best build. You cannot vote for yourself. You may vote from Coarse Dirt (Worst) to Diamond (Best). You have a 16x16x16 area to work on. (Easy)
Buggy Evolution - There is a 2 minute timer where you start out as a Pineco and must defeated other Pokémon to “evolve” into the next Pokémon. You must wait 10 seconds to evolve, and being attacked with disrupt your process. Each Pokémon has an attacking and defending/boosting/healing move. As you evolve, your total HP drops. If you die, you revert back to the previous stage.
Pineco >> Beedrill >> Scizor >> Venonat >> Pinsir/Heracross >> Weedle >> Arceus-Weedle.
Depending on what stage you’re at, and how many total kills you have determines your score. (Hard)

Spin The (Spinda) Maze! - You and others are put into the center of a maze where must make it from point A to point B under a time limit, or else you die. The maze however changes after every point, and gets more and more random as it goes, maybe with odd bridges and tunnels. Who ever is the last one standing wins (Easy-Medium)
