maybe you could add poke balls scattered all over the place with random items inside just like the original games? You could make it so they spawn and reappear every 5-10 minutes.
There are already pokestops that give potions, balls, evolution stones, exp, etc. And those are up every 5 minutes or so. That would be pointless honestly.
What I meant was if your exploring away from towns there could be pokeloot around if you run out of stuff
