How Do Rank Discounts Work If You're Upgrading Your Kit?

In asking this because I bought the ELITE rank for $40 when it was valentine's day and now the CHAMP rank is on a discount for $50. If I rank up would I get discounted how much I payed or get the champ kit for free since I've bought a usually $50 dollar kit, or if I rank up would I pay for the original amount of $100 even if their is a discount?

 

You sutract the rank amount you currently have to the next rank in line. It automatically removes the price you already paid for to the next rank. Buy a $50 rank, and want to increase to $100 rank you only have to pay $50.

 

but what would happen if you have the elite kit and the champ kit is on a discount for only $50, like right now. Could you just upgrade for free since you subtract the cost of your rank?

 

I would like to know about this also. Interesting question.

 

When having a discount and buy a rank at a discount price. I'm pretty sure as this is how it is with other places and other servers the discount does not work on rank upgrades. I could be mistaken though.
