Hey guys, I have been looking to find a good electric type and noticed you guys don't have Mareep. This is also a gen 2 pokemon and I was wondering why it wasn't in the game. Also, can legendary spawn in the wild, I haven't noticed anybody having one that wasn't from a special egg.
Mareep is in the game. You can try finding it at Atlus on the Gen2 lobby. Legendaries are strictly for Legend Ranked players, they have a choice of a legend Pokemon. There was a period in time where Legend Ranks could buy Shiny Legendary eggs as well. Also to obtain legendaries, there was a quest where you could get Zapdos/Articuno/Moltres but that was removed. It was a Team Rocket oriented thing where you help your team leader. At that time there was a Legendary Egg for Shiny/Aura or Regular Articuno/Moltres/Zapdos.
