I just evolved my gloom into bellosom and when I battle with it there is no XP given at the end no matter what I do, even I send Bellosom out then switch with another Pokemon (wasted a sun stone apparently)
Hey MonicaG, are you trying to gain XP with the bellossom on the generation one server? Since you won't gain any XP on a generation two Pokémon in the first region unless it's from an egg.
