It must be well stated and known why Rhydon is trash
Area and Cost
Rhyhorn reaches an area of 9x9x9, which turns out to be 729 blocks.
Rhydon reaches an area of 13x13x13, which turns out to be 2197 blocks
Rhyhorn costs 250,000
Rhydon costs 1,500,000 six times as much as Rhyhorn
It would make sense that a single Rhydon should do six times the work
729 x 6 = 4,374
Six Rhyhorns is two times better than a Rhyhorn 4,374 / 2197 = 1.99 (we will just round this to 2)
So buying three Rhyhorns would be equivalent to one Rhydon
Three Rhyhorns costs 750,000
Therefore it's a waste of money to evolve one Rhyhorn to a Rhydon, when you can get the same work done by three Rhyhorns, for less the amount of money.
Reasons Why to Evolve
A proper argument must include the other side
If you don't want to use up all your Pokemon space for Rhyhorns, then evolving it is the choice for you, however you must consider this new choice on you.
Have more space? Or waste your money on saving space?
"Saving Space"
When it comes to "saving space" let's take an approximation on how many pokemon a normal player might have
You only need 1 venusaur, but you don't necessisarily even need one. (Bone meal farm)
Maybe 1-6 Charizards if you're a smelt maniac
No geodudes
1 Mewtwo
1 Gengar
1 Ditto
1-2 Scyther
Assuming that a person has the max of what I stated, that will be 12 pokemon out of your 20, excluding the Rhyhorns.
8 spaces left for your Rhyhorns.
8 x 250,000 = 2,000,000
8 x 1,750,000 (this is cost of buying rhyhorn and evolving it) = 14,000,000
You just saved 12 million dollars buying the better and more money efficient Rhyhorns
If Rhydon had extra features it'd be a great pokemon for skyblock, but it doesn't at all, so for now, and however long they intend to keep it this way, it's trash, a waste of money and sucks.
