This quest would be similar to the Shadow Quest, but not as hard as those quests. I got the idea of this since in Pokemon Gold, Pokemon Silver, and Pokemon Crystal was when shiny Pokemon were introduced. So this quest should happen in Gen 2 and not Gen 1. We can start by helping Lance (Elite Four Member) or another NPC like MCFinest_Danny, to stop Team Rocket or a Team made up on the servers own like Team <Insert Team Name>, and the objective is like in the Pokemon Game, you beat Team Rocket Grunts, do some parkour like normal, maybe find the Key to unlock the door to the leader. The Boss of the Team can have Aura, Shiny, Shadow (Without Reverse Mode), Halloween, Legendary (Possible Shadow Lugia and Mewtwo, without Reverse Mode). The quest line story can be to stop the Radiowave like in the game, once you enter the building, you and Lance or other NPC split up. The NPC can tell you to battle all the Rocket Grunts and to reach the leader to stop him from causing the pain to the Pokemon being affected from the Radiowave. Once you reach the boss it is almost too late and you battle him. Once you beat the boss an explosion happens and the Leader thinks that he/she has won. Once the leader has his/her victory laugh, Red Alarms go off afterwards and the Boss starts to freak out and goes to him/her computer yelling asking what is going on, and what the Boss can see is a Dragonite (or a Stronger like Tyranitar or something) destroying the research data and other equipment, the Boss can escape and Lance (or the NPC) can tell you to help turn on the Radio Singal by removing the Generators which can be by releasing Electric Pokemon from cages or something similar to this. Once you do this Lance (or the NPC) will give you a Shiny Egg which would be Gen 2 Shiny Egg.
Not a bad suggestion. Although it would have to be really tough to give Shinies away.. however other than shadow eggs pokefind has never really given away anything more valuable than rare eggs as shadow eggs were made specifically for a quest and shiny eggs are big sellers.
Shiny quest could possibly be implemented But I guess it will have to guarantee that the IV's are less than the ones you purchase directly from (store.pokefind.co)
