Boats!?

This may seem like a stupid idea for all the people with /fly
BUT, I have many good reasons to add boats to the world of Pokefind!

First of all, boats will be a very good asset for the people who do not have fly. It will improve player effectiveness for traveling (for the people that don't have fly), as well as it will look awesome!

The main reason I suggested this idea is because of bikes! We all know that bikes have improved by our means of transportation on land. So... why not something that travels on water!? We can make it so the boats travels the same speed as bikes (so ./fly still has its value). And make it cost 350 tokens as regular bikes (so everything remains in balance)!

Pros:
- ease of transportation on water
- looks awesome
- makes catching pokemon that spawn in water, easier
- makes grinding lvls a bit easier
- its fun to ride boats!

If possible, there can be 3 different boats, that reps up the 3 different team colours! And of course add the new Z-Boat (paid with irl cash)!

P.s: For those people who are gonna say "Oh this is gonna ruin our experience of pokefind, since you can't ride boats in the actual game!"
My response is, this is a simpler solution of riding Pokemon in the water.

Kinda like this idea. However these things are always abused. There are only 2 spots for boats on gen 1 and that's from finderia to aether island and then to aura. So many people will use it in the wrong place. And at the end of the day it wouldn't be worth 350

 

Bikes you can use pretty much anywhere but boats have a limited place where their useful. I don't think the boat would be worth 350 tokens. Also there is trainer that takes you from finderia to ather for a small price.

 

Any recommendations for the price of the boat? Also, remember it's not only just for traveling to different cities, but it's also for grinding levels, and searching for rare Pokemon in the ocean!

What do you mean by "Abused," the only place that people can use their boats are when they are in water. Also in gen 1 you can ride boats in icy plains on the ridges, and ride boats around falls lagoon, coast city for grinding levels. There are actually many uses of boats in gen 1 all you gotta do is think about the more uses

 

I think the boats should be around 75 tokens. Sure, boats could be useful for grinding (especially for electric and grass types), but there are also down sides as boats are only useful or one type - water. If boats were some how useful for more types then I'd say they should be worth more tokens.

 

This is a very good idea, especially since riding a pokemon will cause a lot of lag, while this is basically the same thing just without the lag. I support it!

Boats I think would/could cause more lag with the extra entities constantly being used there, however it's a bit like my idea from here: http://forums.pokefind.co/index.php?threads/beacons-and-more.3543/ about the frost-walker boots however it wouldn't be creating an entity so wouldn't be causing the lag like boats may.

 

I like the idea, but 100 tokens is a better price.
