How do you unlock the breeding machine recipe?

My friends and I are new to pokefind and we wanted to know how to unlock the recipe for the breeding machine. When I put my mouse over the locked recipe, it doesn't tell me how to unlock it. Can anyone help me?

You unlock the breeding machine the more gyms you comeplete, look under /pokegear > badges and you can see the rewards each gym will give the player in return of completion
