Hello everyone, Those of you that are like me and like a few mods in your life will notice the rules section: "Hacking and Client Modifications The use of hacked clients/mods of any kind is not tolerated on the PokéFind network and will result in and instant removal and future denial from the network. This includes any type of spam botting." Link - http://forums.pokefind.co/index.php?threads/official-rules.2249/ The rules clearly state that no mods are allowed what-so-ever, however we know this to not be the case. Mods like Optifine, 5Zig, Just Enough Items are allowed and as well as a few other harmless ones. We know the basic mods (hacked clients) that allow you to fly, reach, kill aura, etc. Are not allowed. However, my point in making this post is to ask the Admins/Managers to create a "Legal" and "Illegal" section clarifying which mods are allowed and not allowed (since there are obviously mods that are allowed) so there is absolutely no question or excuse to get banned. This would also clear up some of the confusion of players asking if the basics like Optifine are allowed as well.
well its a good idea but we all should know what a legal (which is allowed) mod is an what is an illegal (which is not allowed) mod for e.g. any type of hack client would count as illegal not that hard to know that this is illegal on the server
True, but some servers are more harsh than others. It would just be nice to know what is acceptable and what is not. There are VERY obvious illegal mods and VERY obvious legal mods. Then you have things like inventory tweaks, damage indicators, and things like that that fall into a grey area. Some people also think things like x-ray are allowed if it is a texture pack versus a mod/client or think fancy chat is allowed just because it is a chat mod(although it usually only comes with a hacked client).
true, people might think that xray texture pack is allowed because it is not a mod. But it does same as xray mod.
