switching Pkmon before opposing Pkmon is sent out

"Joe is about to send out vulpix. would you like to switch Pokemon?". This game mechanic is missing and i feel it should be added

 

I object, because one of the enemy don't know what he is going to out, but another one does. It would take battle to unfair.

 

It wouldn't help since people change the names of pokemon and then non ranks would be at a disadvantage because they won't know your pokemon but you'll know their's

 

I was just thinking about this the other day. Since I was fighting a fire type trainer and would be nice if I could just send out my water type Pokemon. Instead of the one in my first slot.
