My resource pack isn't working?

Hey guys! I'm new to this server and I've been having trouble with my resource pack. I've downloaded it, tried resetting everything, and tried reconnecting multiple times. When I first logged on, it asked for the resource pack, and I said yes. After the resource pack loaded in, all of the blocks went completely BLACK. My younger sibling also joined, and hers loaded in completely fine. I don't know if it's because my computer is a Mac, but I need some help with this.

 

Hello Itchh, try downloading optifine a version 1.10+ and use it while logging onto to the PokeFind server, that usually fixes the issue. If not, look through these two resource pack guides and use each of the methods to see if they fix the resource pack glitch.

I added you on discord since I am still confused on how to fix this. The guides didn't really help me at all. Also, for the optifine, I don't know which one to download since there are many options to download from. My discord should be: Itchh#5326.
