Suggestions - Cast Your VOTE!

Obviously all of this will have to wait until the servers are under control,
but maybe save these suggestions as a note for later.

-Pokémon Trading
[Pretty self-explanatory. Could use a system involving a PC or just trading out in the wild. Include trading items (including trade-able currency)]

- Viewable Combat
[Pokémon would have physical move sets that would be seen by those battling and those passing by.]

-Quests
[Open up the buildings throughout the world, furnish them, add NPC's, and give us quest lines and objects to deliver to complete a quest as a way to receive special items or potentially incorporate TM's/HM's (when they are implemented into the game) into these quest lines.]

-Main Quest
[Team Rocket, Magma, etc... Give us a story to follow that takes us across the world!]

-Flying/Surfing
[This one seems to be already in the works, but also seems worth mentioning considering how amazing it will be when implemented.]

-Texture Pack
[I for one love the smoother looking texture packs. The pixelated images in vanilla Minecraft cause my eyes to not focus and give me headaches. This wouldn't necessarily need to be required, but would be a nice option to have.]

-More things to buy
[Give me a reason to sell things that I get from Poké-Stops. As of right now, I don't use the shops that you Devs have worked so hard to have in the game. Alongside this, maybe consider large cities that focus specifically on shops like in the games.]

I will add more to this as time goes on, feel free to comment ideas and I may add them to my personal list!

Already Noted and is possibly underway after the Devs get other things situated first. Priority.

- Viewable Combat
Has not been suggested, When passing by someone else battling it might spam there chat. Unwanted.

-Quests / Main Quest
Is a great idea, do not think it's been suggested. Would take a lot of coding to work on. I would love to see something like that in the game.

-Flying/Surfing
Is already underway, but as stated above the devs have a higher priority list currently. Not sure how it will be done - via certain trainer level, buyable, or learnable.

-Texture Pack
Some people like the normal default textures in vanilla minecraft. You can always go off and get Shaders to make the game have more detail and contrast.

-More things to buy
They plan on adding different things in the shops - just like the actual pokemon games. But as of right they have higher priority.


This is a great list, nice and compiled. Thank you for the suggestions, will be passed along to the right people.

 

With Viewable Combat, I had hoped for something that wouldn't be in direct chat. Maybe on the dev side, keep the chat portioned off to the battlers themselves, and the physical moves and HP bars viewable by all.

As for the rest, I knew some of it was all underway and other things most definitely take priority, but I wanted to get a feel for the communities opinion.

Of course, we strive to build a nice healthy community, and for that I thank you. For the viewable combat I could see like - see the Moves being used, and the HP bar being shown. That would be cool. Just hope theres not chat text that goes with.

 

If it would help to get the ball rolling (only if the Devs actually want to pursue it) I would be interested in writing up some basic quests to get things started. They could come from straight from the games or be customized. Or both. Feel free to Inbox me if the Devs show any interest in the project.
