Bugging Moves and Game Mechanics

Hello Everyone, I am currently keeping a list of any moves and game mechanics not working. I thought to post it on the forums so people can check the things we are aware of. if you find anything not on this list, please notify me and provide screenshots / video evidence over discord.

Moves:
Encore: doesnt lock you
Metronome: no effect
Fake Out: usable after first turn and no flinch period
Disable: no effect
Curse: apperently the dot damage isnt working.
Magnitude: apperently no effect
Rest: no heal
Wake-Up Slap: doesnt wake up opponent
Dive: hits instantly
Toxic spikes: no effect
Sucker punch: even works if opponent uses status moves
Payback: goes before switching for some reason.
Sonic boom: 40 dmg instead of 20
Smach down: bug with text

Other things:
confusion always causes the confused pokemon to hit itself
Can be paralyzed while burned, burned while poisoned etc

Please try to not abuse any of these things. i noted what is wrong so i dont get reports about these things and if we discover anything else wrong i can add it.

good list except last point about confusion which is completely wrong. When a pokemon is confused there is still a chance it will hit normally. Its not always guaranteed to hit itself.

 

I ran into a shelder who used protect, the move did not protect the shelder and I was able to hit it.

 

Also 'Mean Look' doesn't seem to work. It's meant to prevent you from running away from the Pokemon, or switching Pokemon. (Unless it fainted in battle)

 

telekinesis doesn't work ether

rest does give heal

sleep talk doesn't do anything

 

What I have noticed is that rain dance doesn't seem to do anything. I'm guessing this is gonna be the same for sunny day too, although I haven't tried that one.

 

I'm adding what I can to this list. Anything in bold should probably be fixed ASAP.

I found Mimic doesn't copy the move.
Barrier doesn't raise the pokemon's defense.
Rage doesn't seem to raise attack.
Aqua Ring doesn't heal.
Dig is completely broken, use it once and it goes on forever uncontrollably. After the pokemon comes up and does damage he goes instantly back down, making it invulnerable. NEEDS FIXING! *Note: Once the PP reaches 0 it keeps going. *Note 2: It does this to all 2-turn moves.
Last Resort can be used before all other moves are used up.
Brine does not do double damage when the target is below half health.

Magnet rise doesnt work ground moves still hit you.
Destiny bond doesnt take the pokemon down with you.

 

Let's all take a moment and talk about a move called dream eater lol

 

Also, "Dream Eater" works when the opponent is not sleeping.

 

I think the move dragon dance doesnt work since when i use it the chat didnt say my stats is increase. Also, the pokemon still outspeeds me eventhough i already use thr dragon dance 3x.

 

Mew's "Me First" is broken and does nothing.

 

I think solar beam is also bugged. The foe gets to hit you two times.

 

I will add up some bugs:

- Psychic Attacks (psy wave) are not super effective against poison pokemon.
- Poison damage is not at the end of each turn, but after you use your move. Even if you won the match you get some poison damage.
- Natural Cure doesnt work
- Spite has no effect
- Curse has no effect when used by ghost types
- Last Resort works instant
- Sometimes wild Monster attack before you heal
- It shows the flinch message, even if the attacking pokemon act as second
- Mirror Move has no effect
- Rest causes freeze
- A lot multiple hit moves hit once
- Intimidiate doesnt work
- Whirlwind has no effect
- Sometimes it says xy lowered its speed after defeating a pokemon. For no reason

 

When I use rollout, it doesn't go on for 5 turns, like it says, and does in the games. Also, I don't think the damage Ian increasing each time I reselect it.

I think it would be great if you could update this list Partner! There are many more moves now that doesn't work and some that are fixed
